How to Play Backgammon
- Objective: Move all 15 of your checkers into your home board and then bear them off.
- Setup: Each player starts with 15 checkers positioned on the board.
- Rolling: Roll two dice to determine how many points you can move.
- Movement: Move your checkers forward according to the dice values. Brown moves clockwise (24→1), White moves counter-clockwise (1→24).
- Doubles: If you roll doubles, you get to use that number four times!
- Hitting: If you land on a point with a single opponent checker, it's sent to the bar.
- Re-entering: Checkers on the bar must re-enter before other moves can be made.
- Bearing Off: Once all your checkers are in your home board (points 1-6 for Brown, 19-24 for White), you can start bearing them off.
- Winning: First player to bear off all 15 checkers wins!
